Our History

“That which is above is like that which is below.”

Janutica is not a new religion, nor a named religion at all. Janutica operates as a means to pursue "The Nameless Religion." The ideas contained within Janutica are outside of time. Janutica contains many of the same energetic concepts which have appeared throughout history, and which will continue to reappear as long as there are groups and individuals able to think and experience life with alert minds. Janutica may be considered a church of that perennial religion which has become visible to few. That which is the eternally new religion whose markings mist through history and each new day.

The official spark of Janutica comes from the pervading sense that there is an underlying truth to all things, and that this truth is inherently beautiful. Unable to completely understand this truth, it is personified and called God. The function of Janutica is to seek the beauty of this truth.

The Janutica process has been formulated through years of study and research, both scholarly and empirical and is the result of the influence of countless minds. Though the technical matters of The Janutica Foundation are handled by a few specific persons, there is no infallible head or voice of authority in Janutica itself. Each being is expected to be their own master. Though the foundation has a structure and pursues specific goals through planned activities and projects, all are invited to propose and initiate their own projects being as closely or loosely involved with The Janutica Foundation as is appropriate. The texture of Janutica depends highly on the individuals who interact with it. No one belongs to Janutica, Janutica belongs to everyone who chooses to direct their will with inspired conviction.

Appealing to individualistic persons, Janutica is a group which works best for persons who generally do not align with groups. This contradiction is overcome when those people feel the call to utilize the power of numbers and the availability of support, encouragement, and new perspectives. Become involved, and you can direct the history of Janutica, your own life, and the lives of others.
Our aim is to promote a consenting voluntary peace in our members, and our member's communities. We believe that a consenting peace is only possible through social maturity, which begins with individual maturity. Through our programs and materials, we want to help people help each other raise the social maturity of their environments.

For those who are not in the vicinity of other active members, the individual process of Janutica can be applied, which is administered through correspondence with the foundation, and through individual practice. Suggestions and guidance are also given on ways for people to form their own groups of locals with similar interests. The process of Janutica attempts to inspire and teach individuals to actively participate in the creation of their own realities through a unique philosophy, and a progressive series of acts, which are utilized to dissolve away "the tyranny of the mundane mind".

As a religious organization Janutica encourages people to engage themselves in a spiritual life, be it through their inherited orthodox faith, or by creating their own personal link with divinity. The most important prescription of Janutica is to "Honor The Self". The Self referred to is not the ego self, but the greater Universal Self, which pervades all.

Janutica has been criticized as being a selfish system, and well it is, unapologetically. The standpoint of The Janutica Foundation is that when an individual realizes that there is no definitive separation between the individual and the whole of existence, selfishness ceases to be a low state and becomes instead the highest of altruistic modes, for all of life is interconnected in a complex system of multi-symbiosis. Love of the Self, is the love of All.

The value of Janutica is that it neither demands nor denies specific actions or beliefs from its members. (Though a sure way to lose membership is by harming or disrespecting another member.) Janutica simply asks all to constantly seek understanding, develop a knowledge of the goodness of good, a reverence for The Unknown, and an appreciation for the beauty of truth. We teach Freedom, not restriction. Janutica suggests however, that if all people were to see things as they truly are; infinite, all people would begin to behave in perceptibly similar ways... This would be peace in it's most ideal form.
